One area we wanted to push this genre of card games was to have an actual world map environment to explore, not just a series of points or otherwise. It builds upon the entirely new genre of card games opened up by games like Dream Quest and Slay the Spire - and, of course, Hearthstone dungeon crawls. Roguebook is a single-player roguelike deck-builder that takes place in a procedurally generated world - inside the Faeria universe. We need the Kickstarter to be successful for us to make the full game. It looks very little like the image above, but has most gameplay concepts functional and, from what we're told, is pretty fun.
